Beware, the Playa municipality has nothing to do with the beach! It's juste a municipality of Havana City and it contains the most residential zones. It's one of the biggest and prestigious municipalities with the greater number of houses for sale and for rent.

General Description of Playa Municipality

Even if with a less extent that what's happen between the Plaza municipality and the Vedado neighborhood, Playa too has many districts which are completely eclipsed by the great Miramar. And we are not talking about zones that are as prestigious, such as El Náutico, Flores, Siboney, but also about all the portion located in the south area of the municipality, such as La Sierra district (located between 31 and 41 avenues), or more marginal districts such as Buenavista (same area but after 60th street), or even the zone called "la Ceguera" more popular for its ophthalmologic hospital or for the Tropicana cabaret than for the actual names of its respective districts, that is, Ciudad Libertad and Santa Felicia. Ciudad Libertad is also a natural park, but it's not very known.

Playa is a very big municipality, which contains zones of all types, either prestigious and marginal.
